Mr. Beck has nine years of transaction experience across a wide variety of industries, including consumer products, food, building products, healthcare, electronics, and financial services. Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Mr. Beck was a partner with Belmont Associates, Inc., a boutique investment and merchant banking operation in Minneapolis, which focused on investment opportunities in which it could take an equity position and create recurring revenue by contributing to operations. At Belmont, Mr. Beck analyzed new investment opportunities, managed projects to raise debt and equity, provided management consulting services, and supported daily operations. Mr. Beck’s experience includes work in the real estate, manufacturing, technology, and insurance industries. As a result of Belmont’s ongoing involvement with several companies, Mr. Beck has also acquired significant experience in managing sales and marketing operations. Mr. Beck graduated from Harvard University cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in economics.
