Mr. Clancy has extensive corporate finance experience as an investment banker and a corporate development officer. He has both advised clients and executed for operating companies complex mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, public debt offerings, private equity fundings and strategic advisory assignments. Mr. Clancy is co-head of the firm’s Technology Group and the Specialty Retail / Direct Marketing Group with special emphasis on software and catalog / Internet retailers.
Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Mr. Clancy was senior vice president at WAM!NET Inc., a global digital transport and data storage provider where he led corporate development, marketing, and sales from the company's initial launch, helped raise over $100 million and execute and integrate several acquisitions before the eventual sale of the company. Prior to joining WAM!NET, Mr. Clancy was an executive at Ceridian Corporation and General Mills, Inc.
Mr. Clancy received his masters of business administration from The Wharton School of Business and his bachelor of science in economics from Moorhead State University where he was selected a Presidential Scholar.
