Mr. Daugherty has over five years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate finance transactions. While at the firm, he has participated in 15 successful middle market transactions, representing approximately $2.0 billion in value. Mr. Daugherty has represented clients operating in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on healthcare products and services, food, branded consumer, and industrial products assignments. Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Mr. Daugherty was with Merrill Lynch, where he generated marketing materials, client presentations and conducted various financial analyses.

Mr. Daugherty graduated with honors from St. Lawrence University earning a bachelor's degree in economics and also completed an international business and trade program at the American University in Washington D.C. He is an active member of the St. Lawrence alumni network, currently serving as an alumni development chair and is pursuing a masters of business administration at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
