Mr. Egeland has more than 12 years of investment banking and principal investing experience. He has competed over 35 financing, merger advisory and principal investment transactions representing approximately $4 billion in value. Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Mr. Egeland was a director in the Technology Investment Banking Group of Credit Suisse First Boston where he headed the east coast software investment banking practice in New York. Prior to Credit Suisse First Boston, Mr. Egeland was in the Technology Investment Banking Group of RBC Capital Markets and earlier in his career was with the Minnesota State Board of Investment, the pension fund for state employees, where he invested in private equity, venture capital, real estate and resource limited partnerships. Mr. Egeland graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of science degree in economics. He also received a master of business administration degree from the University of St. Thomas and attended the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
