Mr. Jarrett has more than 20 years of experience executing M&A and private placement transactions.
He has broad industry experience, with particular expertise in the industrial products/manufacturing,
chemicals/natural resources/environmental, business services, marketing, and consumer industries.
Mr. Jarrett also established the firm's special project valuations and opinions advisory group.
Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market) in 1996, Mr Jarrett worked on Wall Street for over ten
years, primarily at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Prudential Securities. While working for
these firms, Mr. Jarrett developed and executed a wide range of investment banking transactions
including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fairness opinions, initial public offerings,
equity underwritings, senior and subordinated debt underwritings and private placements.
At Prudential Securities, he co-founded its successful chemical and environmental
services group, which developed and executed investment banking transactions on a global basis.
Mr. Jarrett graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude, received a master in business
administration (MBA) degree from the Yale School of Management, and obtained the
designation of chartered financial analyst (CFA). Mr. Jarrett has published articles
and is a frequent speaker on various topics related to mergers and acquisitions.
