Mr. Korte's background includes 14 years of corporate finance and investment banking in the middle market, advising clients on numerous M&A and capital-raising transactions. Mr. Korte has represented both privately-held companies and small-cap and mid-cap public companies. Mr. Korte is in Lazard Middle Market’s Industrials Group, and has extensive experience advising clients in a variety of industries, including environmental services, industrial products, niche manufacturing, business services and other sectors.

Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Mr. Korte was a vice president at a boutique investment bank located in Chicago, where he focused primarily on the firm's M&A and private placement activities. Previously, Mr. Korte was an associate with NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, LLC where he concentrated on leveraged lending and debt capital placements.

Mr. Korte received his masters of business administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He earned his bachelor of science degree from Georgetown University.
