John Lonnquist brings over 16 years of investment banking experience to Lazard Middle Market. Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Lonnquist headed Piper Jaffray’s business services and education group. In that role, he led numerous mergers and acquisitions, equity, and debt financing transactions across a range of services-based verticals, including marketing and information services, human resources and professional services, business process outsourcing, information technology services, education, and facilities services. Prior to that, Mr. Lonnquist worked for Alex. Brown & Sons and its successor Deutsche Bank in both the United States and London, where he primarily covered business services clients.

Mr. Lonnquist graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
