Marshall Phelps has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions and has been involved in a variety of transactions at the firm.

Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Phelps was an associate in the private equity group of O’Melveny & Myers LLP, a full service international law firm. He has advised private equity funds and public and private companies in all phases of evaluating, planning and executing various M&A and securities transactions and has extensive experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, offering memoranda, ancillary agreements and related documents.

Mr. Phelps received a juris doctorate from Fordham University School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree from Colgate University. Mr. Phelps is a member of the New York bar.
