Mr. Sharpe is responsible for managing the day to day operations of Lazard Middle Market. Prior to this role, Mr. Sharpe represented Lazard Middle Market for several years in a range of M&A assignments in several market segments including business services, consumer, healthcare, industrial / manufacturing, and technology / telecom industries.

Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Mr. Sharpe gained experience in other industries including line management and business development roles with DataCard Corporation, management consulting with Kurt Salmon Associates, and several years in the investment banking industry with US Bank in Minneapolis and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. in New York.

Mr. Sharpe holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Management Degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Sharpe resides in Deephaven, Minnesota and is a Board Member for Adolphson and Peterson Construction, Abe-Tech Incorporated and the Minneapolis Metropolitan YMCA.
