Mr. Stewart has over 15 years of healthcare services experience as an operator, consultant, entrepreneur, senior equity research analyst and banker. Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), Ryan headed all healthcare services investment banking efforts at FBR Capital Markets, and was Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at UnitedHealth Group. Mr. Stewart has spent his entire career in the healthcare services industry, with an emphasis on healthcare information technology, disease management, managed care, pharmaceutical services. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Mr. Stewart was Managing Director and Head of healthcare services equity research at Piper Jaffray & Co. and Director and Senior Healthcare Equity Research Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Mr. Stewart also founded and ran a venture-backed healthcare software company, was in healthcare consulting with Arthur Andersen and in business development with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
