John Waldock has significant experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. He has completed a wide range of financial transactions for both public and private companies in the retail, consumer product, manufacturing, technology and telecom, and healthcare industries.

Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Waldock was an associate at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, working in the mergers and acquisitions group. While at Credit Suisse First Boston, he provided a full range of investment banking services and participated in over $ 2.3 billion of merger and acquisition activity. Prior to Credit Suisse First Boston, Mr. Waldock was employed by UBS Warburg in New York, advising companies on public equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Waldock has also worked for LaBranche & Co. LLC in New York, the largest specialist trading firm on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Mr. Waldock graduated cum laude with degrees in finance and accounting from the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
